Position Type: Full Time/Exempt Wage: Commissioned Sales - biweekly
Location: Minot, ND
Candidate will have experience in selling to customers to build relationships, promote product and increase sales and have the ability to provide excellent customer service to all accounts.
This position is responsible for selling, transporting, delivering, stocking and rotating products to customer locations on an assigned route, in a safe, efficient and timely manner, and adhering to all D.O.T. regulations. Will perform Daily Inspections on truck, logs hours (if applicable), performs truck maintenance according to schedule and keeps truck clean inside & out.
Must be able to process orders, delivery tickets and credit invoices using handheld computer and printer. May collect cash or checks where required and submit funds to company immediately. Will be responsible for accurate inventories on truck and warehouse (if applicable) and daily paperwork as directed by Bernatello's. Will be responsible for loading and unloading your truck within your assigned geographic area.
This is a fast paced and physical job, has early morning start times, and may require some long days or weeks, depending on ad schedule.
Must be at least 21 years of age
High School diploma or GED
Must have and maintain valid driver's license and pass Motor Vehicle Record & background check
Must have or be able to obtain a Class B license (CDL)
Drive straight truck in varying traffic and weather conditions in a safe and legal manner
Must have or be able to obtain a D.O.T. Medical Card
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
Must be able to work independently
Ability to read, write and speak English and the ability to understand verbal & written instructions.
Must have basic math and computer skills to operate inventory and invoicing program
Attention to detail and possess good customer service skills
Must have stable work history with sales or grocery store experience being a plus
Must be able to work early morning hours and meet daily delivery deadlines. Good attendance is mandatory.
Physical requirements include, but not limited to, repetitive: sitting, walking, bending, reaching, use of upper body and hands, lifting and carrying 30 to 50 lbs. Occasional: 50
lbs. Push/Pull up to 120 lbs using pallet jack or power jack.
Exposure to varying temperatures from outside summer temps to inside freezers at -10 F

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
