POSITION
Summary:
This position will be responsible for supporting ND Operations as a Regulatory Analyst. The Regulatory Analyst has primary responsibility for the collection and management of data supporting all regulatory matters that pertain to ND base operations. The Regulatory department manages several ongoing compliance projects including PHMSA compliance, NDIC/BLM reporting, ND DoH Well Registration, and the annual plugging program. This position works closely with North Dakota personnel, including Well Factory, Operations, Engineering, and EHS, to provide a wide range of regulatory oversight and analytical support. This role must ensure timely and accurate filings with State and Federal regulatory agencies as well as maintain excellent communications to/from Base Production functions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Represent Hess establish and maintain relationships of integrity and trust with all Regulatory agencies
Prepare and submit various permits/sundries/reports with input from multiple disciplines
Work with the Well Factory and Infrastructure personnel to file required reporting to the NDIC and BLM
Assist in management and storage of regulatory documents
Track and report metrics
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
General knowledge of Regulatory requirements and practices including but not limited to NDIC, BLM, EPA, and PHMSA
Ability to comprehend drilling, infrastructure, production, and development activities
Strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills
Strong organizational skills
Database utilization skills
Self-motivated and energetic
EDUCATION/
Experience:
College degree or relevant experience
Regulatory permitting and compliance exposure-preferably in North Dakota
