21721 How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Objective:
Deliver staffing, performance management and employee relations support for Delta Vacations Customer Engagement Center (CEC).
Lead the onboarding and orientation process for all CEC new hires to support a smooth integration into the organization and a full understanding of company policies and procedures.
Ensure policies, procedures and initiatives support human resource strategy and align with all state and federal standards.
Essential Functions:
Coach leaders and employees on matters related to performance management, employee relations, DLV policy and accepted employment practice.
Organize programs that support CEC new employee orientation, engagement, and a sense of connection.
Work with human resource and/or cross functional team members on new policy/procedural implementations, ensuring results are met according to schedule.
Provide status reports to key partners.
Define and develop project plans, assemble resources, gather information, lead timelines, conduct analysis, and make informed recommendations related to human resource policy and processes.
Research, benchmark and produce detailed data reports.
Deliver in written or verbal form to appropriate management in support of human resource decision making.
Create engagement to SkyHub (Workplace by Facebook) to cultivate substantial connection points for new hires.
Develop documentation for new and/or existing human resource practices, policies and process flow.
Take actions as necessary to remain up to date on trends and changes in employment law, including state specific requirements to ensure CEC work from home compliance.
Bring together appropriate parties to make recommendations, implement and communicate vital policy change.
Provide HR administrative support to maintain HRIS systems (SAP) to include verification of information related to employee data, compensation, leaves of absence and work to resolve related discrepancies.
Serve as a human resource subject matter expert and liaison to corporate staff on projects related to new processes, handbook policy updates and new technology integration.
Implement strategies and processes for the sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection of candidates.
Update documentation and onboarding resources when changes are needed.
Provide training to employees on new policies and programs as applicable.
Act in accordance with departmental privacy and security policies and procedures.
Align with all corporate and departmental policies/procedures and applicable governmental regulations.
Generate, analyze and distribute reports pertaining to assigned responsibilities.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Other Duties Attend and participate in meetings pertaining to assigned responsibilities.
Participate in ad-hoc projects or other duties as assigned which may include cross-utilization within the department or with other CEC departments.
Provide training department curriculum consultation and development as needed.
Update applicable human resource documentation on wiki format.
Domestic travel to fulfill assigned responsibilities.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Must possess a strong attention to detail.

Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with management, staff and customers as well as demonstrate sound judgment/reasoning skills.
Knowledge of DLV Human Resource programs, policies, procedures, departments and workflow helpful.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Must demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, public speaking and presentation skills.
Strong mathematical aptitude required.
Two years of experience as human resource generalist/professional required Demonstrated experience managing projects in a Human Resource environment required Strong knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations affecting Human Resources including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, HIPPA and EEO compliance required Advanced MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel skills required Be a team player with patience for ambiguity and a commitment to digging in deep to solve problems and overcome obstacles Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
